Cat grooming is performed by one of our veterinary nurses and is always done under sedation to ensure your cat’s safety and comfort. It typically includes a full lion clip and nails. We do not routinely bathe cats due to the risks of hypothermia and aspiration under sedation.

Health Check (for new patients)
If your cat has not visited us before, a health check is required prior to the groom, as well as proof of vaccination. If you would like to vaccinate with us, the cost of the new patient health check will be included for free in the cost of vaccination.

Cost of outdoor cat vaccine (+ Feline Aids), incl free health check: $199

Bloodwork (for cats over 12 years old)
Due to their advanced age, cats aged 12 years and older are required to have a blood test prior to sedation to assess organ function and ensure it is safe for them to undergo the procedure.

Cost: $259 (biochemistry and thyroid panel)

The Groom 
This includes sedation, monitoring, a day stay in hospital, and the grooming procedure.
